Here is what we have been up to the past few months.........

McKenna got pink eye in BOTH eyes!  She was a trooper and let me put the eye drops in her eyes like a champ.
We went to the drive in.  The girls loved doing this.  Kayla ate half the bowl of popcorn.

Enjoyed the park.  Kayla loves the swings.  She even went down the slide all by herself.

Kayla's first time having her very first Jamba Juice.  She would scream at me everytime I tried to take it away.  She almost finished the whole thing.

Spent some time at Grandma Sandy's house and made crazy banana bread.

McKenna went to the dentist for the first time.  She did great!  She looks really scared here but it was just a bad photo.  A little nervous at first but happy and excited by the end of it.  She has perfect teeth.

Had a picnic at the Temple.  This was the best shot I could get of all of us.

Took at trip on the light rail to downtown.  The girls loved it!  For those who are wondering, no we did not see anything gross during our travels.  Everyone was very clean and nice.

Went swimming for the first time this year.  It was a bit cold but the girls had fun.

McKenna has been begging me to take her to the bean factory.  My mother and I took the girls a few weeks ago.  Although Kayla doesn't really like Jelly Beans she still enjoyed herself.  Probably one of the few things she doesn't like.

Last but not least, McKenna decided it was a good idea to put her hand on the stove top.  If you can't tell, she has a blister across the top of the palm, right under her fingers, a small red area down the side of her palm, and a small blister next to her thumb.  4 out of 5 of her fingers had small red/white spots on them.  This was day 2 of her burn.  I don't know what the probably is with us and burns.  But I hope this is not  a growing trend.

Easter 2012

For Easter we went to Oroville.  The girls had a fun time hunting for Easter eggs.  The cousins on Tucker's side had a party for all the little kids.  They had a great time.

What we have been up to

We haven't been up to to much lately, but this is what we have been doing.

McKenna has been enjoying preshool.  Her class went to the Children's museum last month.  They had a blast.

We had 3 birthday parties in the last 4 weeks! Lots of birthday! This is from Nathan's birthday party.  It was a nurf war party.

Kayla has been silly as usual.  She is such a funny girl.  I am amazed at how different her and McKenna are.  There is never a dull moment when Kayla is around.

We decorated cupcakes for Valentine's Day.

The girls are now sharing a room.  They seem to be enjoying playing in their room together.  Only had a problem on the first night when McKenna woke up Kayla.  But other than that its been great. (its only been 3 days)  I've enjoyed having my room back as well.  I can actually sit and read in my room or play on my phone before I go to bed with the light on.  Its great!

My two girls! I love them!

Christmas 2011

Christmas was pretty fun this year.  It was a lot more exciting for McKenna.  She is figuring out all about Santa and his reindeer.  We dropped her letter off in the mail box and saw Santa at the mall.  She was a little scared at first to see Santa, but quickly got over it.  I look forward to this next Christmas when Kayla will be more into the Christmas Spirit.

Santa Barbara

In November the family took a little weekend trip to Santa Barbara to visit Tucker's aunt Denise.  We didn't do to much. We went to the beach, went out for dinner, went on a boat, went to a children's museum, watched the surfers.  We had a fun time.

Kayla turns 1

Kayla turned 1 in November.  We celebrated her birthday on Thanksgiving with the family.
Ain't she cute! Happy Birthday!

Photo Shoot Nov. 2011

My sister-in-law, Kristin, took our family photos a few months back.  Here are some of the shots.  She did a great job.  Thanks Kristin! I love them.
